What Makes This Treatment Different

Unlike a regular RMT appointment that may focus mainly on hands-on care, Active Rehabilitation Treatment combines a required functional assessment with manual therapy and guided movement.

The therapist may assess range of motion, mobility, strength, stability, posture, and movement patterns, then use the findings to shape the treatment. The session may include hands-on techniques, corrective exercises, mobility work, strengthening, movement coaching, and personalized home-care recommendations.

This treatment is designed for patients who want to take an active role in improving movement, function, and long-term recovery.

What to Expect

Your appointment will begin with a discussion of your symptoms, health history, daily activities, previous injuries, and recovery goals.

Your therapist may assess:

  • Range of motion

  • Strength

  • Stability

  • Balance

  • Posture

  • Functional movement patterns

The rest of the appointment will be based on the assessment findings and may include both hands-on treatment and active exercise.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move during the assessment and rehabilitation portion of the appointment.
